This old roadside hostelry is personally run by chef-owner Liam and the wine list features bottles from his father’s vineyard in France. Shelves burst with goodies which are showcased in refined, modern dishes and the tasting menu lists some luxurious ingredients. In summer, find a spot on the canopied terrace.
Their Sunday evening menu has a choice of 2 sharers (A barbecued rib of beef and a wellington) as well as the choice of a beef fillet. All served with roast potatoes, pickled red cabbage, honey glazed carrots and Yorkshire pudding. There are of course a choice of starters and a fish main course available, as well as a selection of desserts.
